During our Food Festivals an international Chef selected by an Embassy, creates a special menu full of authentic flavors, together with Chef Sido de Brabander. Each Food Festival highlights a specific cuisine.

On October 13 & 14, Chef Agus Hermawan and Chef Sido de Brabander will jointly present an authentic 8-course fine dining experience that will enhance the traditional spices and flavors from Indonesia.

Chef Agus Hermawan, originally from Java, Indonesia, learned to cook from his mother and set off to the Netherlands in 1996 to begin his culinary career. He honed his skills by working at various Michelin-starred restaurants. He has a unique talent for transforming traditional Indonesian dishes into contemporary and exciting culinary creations, all while paying tribute to his native country.

In 2018, Chef Agus was appointed as the ambassador of Indonesian cuisine in the Netherlands by the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism and is currently serving as the executive chef at the Ron Gastrobar Group
